I don’t believe it mid-October and there are Christmas stuff in the shops already.

Just parked the car, and realised that some “person” has unscrewed the FM aerial and nicked it!

Jeez, the world we live in.

Well it’s finally stopped raining. The power has been restored to the house.

Decided to pop into Croydon to get some bits before going to see Mark.

Bother! Power for the whole estate has been out since 6am. No tv, no radio, no computer or internet

No fun here!

You know it makes sense, and boy I know how to treat myself!

Something I really enjoy, but rarely get the chance. I love going to the movies, getting some food afterwards – trouble is I don’t get a chance as much as I use to.

My favourite “up town” cinema was the Odeon at Marble Arch – I don’t know if it’s still there, but it was a huge single screen cinema with a balcony which is very unique.

Update:
Seems that in 1996 the cinema was closed and converted into a 5 screen multiplex — very sad.

This is one of my favourite cinema’s. Parking is good, and it’s close to the

shops. So generally I visit the shops and catch a film on the way home.

Well, today is the first weekday of my holiday (I never count Sat/Sun). What have I done?
