Today!
Good news is that my Dad's a lot better today.. Me? I'm off to see a demo in central London tomorrow – Liverpool Street! I think I'll take my camera and get some shots of the city.
Today is better
Today is a lot better, Dad is feeling a lot better today, although he didn't get much sleep last night. Typically he's going to see the local GP today.
Work-wise I'm at the datacentre today, it's bright, cold, and noisy – I've had to turn up the volume to hear any music! Rebuilding a server (joy), and sorting out some delievery.. Might make my way back to one of the offices later as I need to do a data transfer after 6pm today.. see what happens.
Starbucks & Blogging (not a good weekend)
Well, I can't say that it's been a good weekend, my Dad has not been very well – there is quite a nasty virus going around of which I will not go into details. Saturday we all spent over 5 hours at various clinics and A&E waiting for people to see my Dad. Once they got to see him, he was isolated immediately, but after a couple of hours checking him over they came to the conclusion that it was a 'stomach upset' and send him home – we have booked an appointment with our local GP for tomorrow!
Today (Sunday) decided to pop out to get some air – sitting outside Starbucks having a hot chocolate and cake at the moment. I'm right next to the window at the moment being observed by a couple reading this over my shoulder I'm sure!
My laptop is all setup, although I'm trying to find some software that keeps folders on the laptop and server synchronised – no luck at the moment.
