I hate Apple Stores…

Just been into the Apple store in Bluewater, why do all the shop assistants prance around with an over inflated air of self importance?

Walking around with their finger up their arse, heven forbid you mention you’re a pc user, as they inflate even further sucking all the oxygen from the locality.. And returning to their little “clicky” group of buddies at the “Genius Bar”.. Sure Apple makes good hardware but the software availablity is cr@p, and costly.. And for those swapping from pc to mac, including myself have invested a lot of software wich is pc only…

Still I enjoy telling them that I only want a Mac to put XP on as XP has better support for software and hardware.. “It just works..” as the advert goes – like hell it does, believe me!

Had a play with the new iMac 24″ and the display is fantastic, with the Mac OS it was quite happy playing all the videos without any issues – I wonder how it handles XP?

BenQ-Siemens Black Box Concept Phone

Link: Gizmodo, The Gadget Guide.

Blackbox

Unlike previously mentioned, BenQ is still making phones in Asia, just no longer in the German market. This is one of the concept phones being worked on—the Black Box. No keypads, no buttons, just a big ass touchscreen. From the initial pictures it looks like the interface changes on the fly. I’m digging the black minimalist design overall. It will probably never see the light of day as an actual product, but it is still cool to look at, nonetheless.
