Day3 – BORING!

Been chatting with Dean at work (he can’t be busy!) said my blog was boring – well to be honest the weather has been totally cr@p – anyhow I bought myself a Nokia n95 yesterday and I’ve been getting used to it…

… not too bad, still unsure about the keyboard (or lack of it), but the push-email seems to be working ok..

Scream if you wanna go faster

Introducing 20Mb Broadband for XL customers

From May 2007, our flagship XL broadband service is going to be twice the speed it used to be – up to a supersonic 20Mb. Although the existing 10Mb service is already four times faster than other industry players , we’ve decided to step on the gas and double the speed.

That means you’ll be able to download an MP3 track in 2 seconds, a full
album in less than 30 seconds, or an episode of your favorite TV show
in just two and a half minutes. Pretty speedy, eh?

We’re even turbo-charging our upload speeds to 768kbps, so you’ll be
able to send emails or upload photos 50% faster than before.

If you’re already a Broadband XL customer, we’ll upgrade you
automatically but you may have to wait just a little while as we can
only boost one region at a time.

Big surprise..

Big surprise..
Big surprise..
Had my Apple training, yes it is in the showroom and I was the only one there!

It turned out to be a more of a 1-2-1 customised training with two workshops squished into one (iMOVIE and iDVD). My trainer Alex (not shown) was very competent and knew his products and was able to answer all my questions and show examples.

I was very happy with the training, although a group training maybe more difficult. Overal I would recommend the workshops, but I cannot comment on one of the the true workshops, I was told by Alex that this closely represented what could be expected from one of their ProCare sittings.
