Saturday post…

Phew, what a scorcher – and typically I think the ac in the car has failed.. I was expecting it, Driftbridge VW broke the magneto when it went in for a service last year, they noted on the bill that it may need replacing after they tried to fix it (it was working when it went into the garage).
Anyhow, got some bit’s and pieces nu shooz, couple of cd’s and a few mags…
Lets hope it doesn’t get too much hotter before I get the ac fixed…
Weekend almost over…

No films this weekend, nothing of interest this week. Although I have had a busy weekend posting blogs
Tomorrow is going to be a chore, I’m meeting my manager at his house at 6am (there’s a 6 o’clock in the morning now?!?) for a meeting in Wales – fun huh? May post some pictures on route, if I’m particularly bored…
Still need to review my training, the skills I need to pursue my chosen career (for both in and out of ‘work’)…
Carshalton prepares for battle ahead..
Holidays, what fun?

This is a real chilled holiday; most of the week, I get up late, real late
I’ve been to Ikea, and its still impossible to find what you’re looking for and the queues are ridiculous – still got the small table I was after, it tilts ans is ment for your laptop…
Still contempling the 32in Samsung tv, its under 800 quid which is good value, Dixons is selling the same one for over a grand! Loosers…
May go over to Bluewater tomorrow ans have a look in the Apple shop, I think my mac-mini knows I’m using a MS mouse, its a bit sluggish and not very responsive.
Just going to drink my Frappachino and I’ll go back and play with photoshop befor it expires…
Legal Matters: Photographing People
Link: Legal Matters: Photographing People.
Wired has a rundown some of the legal issues that could be encountered by snapping a photo of someone unknowingly to them. Basically if the subject doesn’t have a "reasonable expectation of privacy"—basically meaning that it is in a public place that one could expect a camera to be at—then it is cool to take the picture. There are other gray areas that could get you in trouble also. For example taking a picture of underage persons engaging in acts of sexual expression could get you in trouble for child pornography, or snapping artwork can possibly violate copyright laws. The best rule is when in doubt, don’t shoot the picture. Simple as that.
