With the fiasco of the rooms yesterday; you’ll be glad to hear that last night I slept the whole night – without interruptions!
But the morning itself woke with a bang. The weather had flipped 180, yesterday was one of the hottest – today it seemed like one of the wettest! Of course it didn’t just rain there was also thunderstorms and lightening – I’m sure it was natures work just to prove Disney how to do it properly.
Breakfast today was with Pluto; he made an appearance in the hotel lobby having pictures taken with the guests – a talented pup, signing autographs as well; although I’m a little concerned as it seems he has very poor vision…
I ventured out, between showers and made my way to the Walt Disney Studio Park to ride on the Tower of Terror again and check out some of the live movie events.
I’m not sure if it was the rain or not, but there were lots of Disney characters out today; as I walked in the park, I bumped into a very camp Goofy – loving himself.
Dogs must be cheap, as I bumped into Pluto again with Goofy.
One of the live action shows I managed to catch between showers was the exciting “Moteur… Action Stunt Show” –and not Meteors as I quite frequently mis-read.
Of course no visit to the Studio Park would be complete without a visit to “The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror”…
Interesting fact, the costumes worn by the cast members are the most expensive in all the parks; the cost $1,000 each!
Again with the Disney Characters! this time it was Donald Ducks time to make an appearance at the Studios… You know what? He’s a lot shorter in person…
I’m actually very impressed with Donald’s handwriting – well practiced I would imagine.
I check out of my hotel in Disneyland tomorrow, but I still have a whole day pass. One think I’ll have to remember though, I need to get to my next hotel in central Paris before the end of the day – that’s quite a trek, still not sure if I’ll take the train or pay for a taxi.
