It was Sandown’s turn to entertain me today;
The agenda included a trip along the pier and seafront, concluded with a visit to IW Zoo where ITV’s Tiger Island is filmed.
But first a couple of shots of the Bay, firstly around 9pm at night; and then the stormy morning shots about 7:30am.
I arrived at Sandown about 11:30pm, had a walk around promenade and then up the pier;
After lunch, it was on to the IW ZOO for a walkabout safari’;
After checking out Lemurland it was time to search out the BIG CATS! Most were having a lazy afternoon, but luckily a few of them were pacing around licking their lips at the ice-creams; or was it the small children that had captured their interest?
.. on the way back to the hotel, I spotted this guy – Kite Surfing?
