Last week had its up’s and downs – work all yesterday patching servers for 10 hrs.
With my holiday booked for the IoW in a couple of weeks time I started to think about things I need to get; one thing is certainly a weekly parking permit, 7 days costs £30 but you can use it at any pay and display on the island – believe me its worth it!
Still trying to figure out the best way to use the Asus EEE PC, having a 4GB os drive and a 8GB D: drive is a bit of hard work. I’ve created a limed down version of XP Pro which seems to work, but I need to buy a license.

Well, I’ve just had an impulse buy – and Eee PC from Asus.
It has wifi, 1GB RAM, 12GB SSD and runs XP – I want to throw my Vaio in a bag and take it with me everywhere, but I don’t want to loose it. the Asus on the other hand is a littke cheaper and loosing it won’t be such a heart ache.
Also I hope to get my parents on the net; Dad should be able to chat with his brother in Tazmania via Skype.

Well, my journey to find a working photo booth failed today – I need a couple of photo's for (not unsurprisingly) for my passport renewal. Bit disappointed that I have to pay the same amount of money for a renewal as others have to for brand new ones.
I may have to go into Sutton tomorrow to use the one in the Mall there.
Well my course has finished it was quite interesting, not sure how much I will be able to use in my job. Funny sounds very complicated, but with a great GUI its made very simple.
Family are doing well, and I was glad that my Beetle started 1st time after standing for 7 days untouched (but not unloved).
