… not so good

As you know I went out yesterday; it was quite an effort. The cold is really getting me down, coughing and breathless. I experienced something similar some time back when I got a severe viral infection of the lung; coughing up chunks of green phleme (ugh). I feel this is much the same, although not quite as bad currently. I think I should visit the doc’s tomorrow and get some anti-biotics.

I’ll let you know how I get on…

Slumming it…

Wot! No SB post?

For a change I’m having a lemon Fanta and a smokey bacon and cheese Angus burger from BK!

I know, think of the salt etc… But hey, its the first burger this month; possibly the year!

VAIO TZ31VN/X unboxing

Man, I am so happy!

I wasn’t looking forward to running Vista, although I know I will have to swap soon I was over the moon to discover Windows XP sp2 CDROM was also included in the box!

It’s true I’ll have to boot up in Vista and create some recovery CD’s so I’ll have a play and then decide if I’ll put XP on it…

The time has come…

Yes, another SB posting.

Today I’m buying my new laptop (hopefully), a VAIO TZ; the model number escapes me.

I chose the machine without the SSHD as reports from the MacBook air camp suggest there are little benefits currently regarding speed and battery saving – so maybe next time.

One feature I was keen on was the built in 3G modem something that was on my “must have” list. With 3′s deal you can get 7GB of data a month for £25 which currently no other supplier can match.

Well I’ll sign off and sip my Latte while I consider the impact on my savings!

Colourful Croydon

Colourful Croydon
So much colour, Croydon has it’s moments – steeped in history and tradition the “Surrey Street” market has been living here for decades, ong before I was born – and yet, it still lives on…

Sat SB

Well, trying to blog on my new phone – takes a bit of getting used to as the keys are a little smaller even though the physical size of the keyboard is the same.

Yes, photo blogs are back in 2008; well pictures of my Latte a least!

Family doing well; thanks to all that asked about them – Dad’s still waiting for his monitoring to be started…

Work has been hit and miss over the past week, I’m expecting no change for the coming week or so…
