… my iPod touch is quickly becoming central in my gadget life (sad I know). Initially it was a nice looking media player; but since the release of the iPhone apps to the iTouch (as I quite often call it) its become even more functional and a great tool.
I’m able to check my email, search to directions and businesses using maps, check the weather and laugh at Apples declining stocks. All very well I hear you say, I can do that from my computer – but this is more convenient – providing (this is the spanner in the works) there is a wifi connection. Great at home, but quickly gets demoted to a fancy media player on the road. Of course I could opt for a iPhone, with half the memory slow network connection £35 a month for the next 18 months? At this time in it’s life I can say no thanks. Make it 3G, with 32GB and a sensible price/contract and I’ll look at it again.
In the meantime I’m in iTouch heaven…
