Well, its been an interesting day. I woke to one of the brightest days of my stay at IoW; gutted that I was leaving today. I must say though it did cloud over partially just to appease me.
.. it was a long way down, with no fence!
… those white spots on the rocks are sea gulls!
Found my own way to Ventnor beach, with is 25% incline down to the sands and treated myself to a nice ginger and honey ice cream.
Later, another feat of tomtom-less navigation, I made my way to Shanklin beach – thus is way to commercialised for me. To be honest it felt more like Brighton!
Well, I’m on the ferry posting this blog, should be back to the mainland by 5:30pm.
I really think I’m going to miss the Island – and would you believe they are building a 9 apartment complex at Freshwater Bay just where I would like to live; it’s called St. Martins!

Found some more accommodation I wouldn’t mind (plus some businesses!)
