The day started off bright and sunny, waking me up at 7:30am, but it wan’t long before the clouds can and spoilt what could of been a great day.
I decided to visit the photography exhibit just down the road; yes I drove the 800 yards! It was a inspirational look back to the early 20th century where the art of photography was in it’s infantcy, truely amazing.
From there I went further west to The Needles at Alum Bay, the furthest west you can go on the island. There wasn’t much new (if anything), but I did check out the glass works and watched a guy make a vase, interesting. It started raining soon after, so I had a “Deluxe Aero Hot Chocolate” and waited for the weather to clear up enough to make my way back to the car…
Dropped into Currys in Newport to pick up an alarm clock; forgot mine – I bought a cheapy that allows you to dock an iPod in the top, yet to see how well it works.
I’m back in Sandown having a Egg Burger, which reminds me of a classic Ryka burger – for those who remember!
… and an arty nature study type picture at the dinosaur museum (yet to see inside).
