My new manager
… you’ve got to have a sense of humour to manage us lot, and I admire Steve – he wore the t-shirt all day.

Saturday post
Well, I’m in Starbucks having a Latte, you’ll have to take my word for it as this e61 has no camera
Went into MicroAnvika and found a smart bit of HP kit, a Vista MCE box (its called IQ770.uk) and it has a 19" touch screen and all the media functions built in and it’s all combined into a single unit with a wireless keyboard, although I was using it quite happily just tapping away at the screen.
Nice bit of kit with a AMD Turion 64 x2 mobile technology processor, 2GB of RAM and 320GB HD for a cool £1195 inc. I’ll post some links when I get home…
wot, no Starbucks?
Yes, the Nokia n95 went back to Carphone Warehouse and I bought a Nokia e61 (refurbished) for £110 off eBay.
I’m really pleased with this little 3G phone, full qwerty keyboard, uses MS Exchange push technology, mp3 media – but no camera.. They produce an e61i which has a 2MP camera, but I’m going to (try) and wait for my current contract to end before buying that…
Spiderman 3
Synopsis: Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. and his duties as a superhero. But there is a storm brewing on the horizon. When his suit suddenly changes, turning jet-black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter as well, bringing out the dark, vengeful side of his personality that he is struggling to control. Under the influence of the suit, Peter becomes overconfident and starts to neglect the people who care for him most. Forced to choose between the seductive power of the new suit and the compassionate hero he used to be, Peter must overcome his personal demons as two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom, gather unparalleled power and a thirst for retribution to threaten Peter and everyone he loves.
Conclusion: An enjoyable film, it had its ups and downs (don’t they all?) but I thought to myself half way through… "this is going on a bit" but hey, now I know it was saving it up for the end..
Spiderman had his work cut out this time with 3 villain’s. Venom was excellent, an accurate representation if not quite the bulked up creature I was expecting. Sandman also an excellent reproduction. Goblin Jr made the third villain with an interesting twist.
I would recommend you see it, but bear with it through the middle, and you’re in for a treat.
Just one last note, I think this must hold the record for the biggest number of people crying in the film – you’ll know the bit when you see it.
