Ok, so where’s the rest of it?

Ok, so where's the rest of it?
Well, it was a small box to start with, just opened the plain brown carton and inside was a smaller box!

Well, I could be taking a step over to the dark side, or is it into the light ?!

Journey to another dimension

Journey to another dimension
Here I am at starbucks thinking about my journey ahead – have I moved over to the dark side, or into the light?

Today I bought an Apple mac-mini core duo. Is it true what people say about mac’s? I guess I’m going to find out.

Interstingly, it has the new intel processor which means if I have problems with the mac os I can always install Windows XP on it, still I’m sure the next couple of days will be fun ?!?

Animatronic Sir Alan Fires You Whenever He Feels Like It READ MORE: Animatronics, Gadgets, Home Entertainment Maybe our friends in the UK recognize Sir Alan, but to our Stateside readers, just know that Sir Alan is kind of like their Donald Trump, star of The Apprentice, but with better hair. What we have here is an animatronic head of Sir Alan (like in Futurama) that spouts mean and nasty things to passersby. He comes with 20 catchphrases built-in, like the always-amusing "You’re fired!" complete with pointing hand of doom. Since it’s animatronic, his facial features match the mood of what he’s saying. If you’re so inclined, you can also program Sir Alan to say customized messages. Due out in November for around $71, Sir Alan looks to be ready to win you friends in no time.

Volkswagen automatic car park…

Link: Volkswagen automatic car park….

Volkswagen automatic car park… When we first saw these two photos of the Volkswagen’s storage facility in Wolfsburg, Germany, we thought this was an artist’s rendition for some sort of science fiction movie. It’s not. This is an actual 20-story car tower that takes up just 20% of the space of a conventional parking garage handling the same number of vehicles. Volkswagen uses the facility in a showy delivery process for its new-car customers: "In a fully automated procedure, your new car is brought down to you from one of the 20-story Car Towers. Large signboards in the Customer Center show you when your turn has come. Then, you’re handed the keys, your picture is taken, the glass doors open and your brand-new car appears. You’re all set to go." Not only does it save space, but the storage facility’s automated elevator system is able to retrieve cars much quicker than a potentially-careless human parking lot attendant.

Renaming multiple files in Windows

Found this tip, thanks to Yahoo & LifeHacker.. All the years using Windows, and I’m still learning tricks..

Here’s the easy way to rename files in bulk!

In Windows Explorer (or your My Documents folder, or wherever the files are located), select the files you want to rename. You can do this by clicking and dragging a box around them, or select them individually by holding down the Ctrl button and clicking individual files.

Once all the files you want to rename are highlighted, press F2, or right-click on one of the files and select Rename. All of your file selections will disappear except for one, but don’t panic: Type in your new name and click Enter. That’s it! One file will be now be named "renametext" and the others will have sequential numbers in the format of "renametext (1)" and "renametext (2)" and so on. File extentions like .gif, .jpg, or .doc will all be intact, so you can rename multiple types of files at once even if the formats aren’t the same.
