Synopsis: Symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) receives an urgent late-night call while on business in Paris. The curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum and police have found a cryptic cipher near his dead body. While working to solve the enigmatic puzzle with the help of French cryptologist Sophie Neveu, Langdon is astonished to discover that it leads to a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Conclusion: It’s a great movie that leaves you thinking – there is a line towards the end of the film which when spoken by Tom caused laughter in the cinema, it was strange but it wasn’t a funny line – when you hear it you’ll know.
The presentation of the story was great, the effects (yes there were some) were dramatic and complemented the film perfectly – I particullly enjoyed the mixture of new and old in the centre of London.. It’s not everyones cup of tea (with lemon…) but go see it – it’ll make yuo think…
