Yes I was there
Here are a couple of pictures from Club Aibo-Nation 2006. It was nice to sit back and chill… I used to organise these, now thanks to Paul I just sit back and enjoy, very unstressful 
TVDrive … arrives
Well, the Tivo come MCE replacement has arrived – and installed. Initial thoughts, tricky to set recordings – there is no search facility as on the Tivo and MCE, you have to go to the channel, date & time or manually step through the categories.
The pause live tv & rewind function seems to disconnected from the main recorder functions, as when you return to live tv you have to confirm ending the DelayTV function.
I may of mentioned that I’m testing it before giving it to my parents as dad has always had problems with the vcr, hopefully this will be easier for him.

Another week, another Starbucks
Well, thankfully it was a quiet week. The audit was successful and we got our accreditation so everyone was relieved.
I’m sitting in Starbucks being blinded by the sun at the moment, so this will be a quick post ‘cos I can’t really see the screen…
Sunday calling
No flims this week, in fact after Friday I didn’t go out at all.
ActiveAsync is giving me some grief telephone numbers seem to be disapearing out of my contacts list which is a real pain as the problem migrates through the 3 devices that sync.. So I’ll have to sort that out later, and then create a backup in case the problem raises it’s head again.
Sunday again and I needed to get out. Croydon was the choice, simply because it’s local. No movies worth seeing this week – hopefully something will be worth seeing next week.
The week ahead is going to be stressful, the audit is due on wednesday lets hope we don’t have any issues..
Today:: Lucky Number S7evin
Synopsis: The film is a comic thriller that twists and turns its way through an underworld of crime and revenge where nothing is as it seems. Set in New York City, a case of mistaken identity lands Slevin (Josh Hartnett) into the middle of a war being plotted by two of the city’s most rival crime bosses; The Rabbi (Ben Kingsley) and The Boss (Morgan Freeman). Slevin is under constant surveillance by relentless Detective Brikowski (Stanley Tucci) as well as the infamous assassin Goodkat (Bruce Willis) and finds himself having to hatch his own ingenious plot to escape the maze alive.
Conclusion: Wow! What can I say there were lots of twists and turns to keep it interesting, with a good start, middle and end – I’m going to get it on DVD when its released! see it!!!
Work: Well another set of firewalls are being upgraded tonight, this time its the turn of the government firewalls. Shaun has the short straw this evening starting at midnight saturday ~ good luck..

Interesting day! They pulled the exhaust out, stuck a camera up both ends but couldn’t see anything wrong with the CAT. They checked both sensors – both seemed ok.
The only thing they could think of was the air-filter (after market), so they suggested that the standard VW one was fitted, and "see how it goes" (they couldn’t recreate the problem after they reset the error).
So I went home after being there for 5 hours with a VW airbox & filter (engine is very quiet now) and I guess we’ll see how it goes..
How much for the 5hrs labour and airbox + filter (I didn’t have one)
… Zip, Zero, Nada! I confirmed it with them, and they said "don’t worry about it – give us a call and let us know how it goes"..
