Grimm story at the movies
Bit of a late post, saw "The Brothers Grimm", and what a great film! Action, chases, fantasy and a scary witch thrown in. The story revolves around the two brothers as they travel from town to town ridding the unsuspecting towns folk from fake mystical creatures using their own 18th century special effects – clever.
The story continues when the invading French encourage the reluctant brothers to investigate strange goings on in a forest…
Look out for all the references to the classic Grimm stories.. Glass slippers, gingerbread men, long, long hair, a red cape and many more.. See the film, you won’t be disappointed.
Waste of time..

Went to Ikea, found what I wanted.. Easy.
Spent 15 minutes trying to find my way out of the 1st floor showroom.
Arrived at the collection point, and was told that it would be 30mins to get it..
40mins later my number was called.. And then I was told that they didn’t have any in stock! I was told that I should call the shop in a couple of days and check he they were in stock?? Good in theory, but isn’t that the same computer that only 55mins earlier took my order and said they were in stock?!
Just as a foot note I did recieve a token for a single cup of coffee – is this a valid exchange for an hour of my time? I think not.
Christmas here already?
It's November.. Not at Starbucks – you can buy the Christmas Blend, or get a nice Eggnog Latte..
Need all the energy I can get, I'm off to Ikea next!
Remember.. Remember 5th November
Well today is the day that we celebrate the unsuccessful attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament! Wow! how things have changed, I wonder what would of happened if Guy Fawkes was successful??
Anyhow the guys outside must have a good supplier the display in our "square" outside has been going on for over 2 hours now – and they are not the piddley little shop bought fireworks either this is the professional stuff..
