20yr Reunion
Posted by martin newham in Musings on November 22, 2005
Well, it was cool to see some old mates again.. last time I saw most of them was 20yrs ago when I was doing my apprentership (loooong time ago)..
Actually they haven’t changed all that much at all.. I’m a bet envious of Dave who retired at 47, and seems to be doing very well for himself. Neil is now married and has a kid on the way and Ian seems to be having fun just doing what he’s doing…
A most enjoyable evening, but I hope it’s not another 20yrs before we do it again.. You missed out Simon & John, see you next time!!
Winter is here…

Here we are, no problems getting a seat outside now it’s only 5 degrees outside
Christmas is in full swing – at least in the shops! I think most people will have their shopping for gifts done early this year.. I’ll wait a while

Haven't posted for a while 'cos I've been busy having a BIG clear out in my living room. Out went all the old DVD's, out went all the old Music CD's..
Cleared out all the old games, magazines and software – out went some old furniture – the local charity shop was so happy
There is a lot of rubbish to get rid of but I can see the floor now..! I'll take some pictures when It's finished!
Oh by the way, went back to Ikea on Thursday and picked up the cabinet I was after – good thing was the guy recognised me and I got to jump the queue and I got the cabinet in about 10 minutes..

I thought there might be life here, but it was closed – they had simply forgotten to switch the lights off before they left!
